Objective:
This is a help article that will explain the complete workflow of the following features when the SEEK integration is enabled on Ready Recruit:
- Posting a Job Ad with Questionnaire
- Applying for a posted vacancy on SEEK
- Create a candidate/application record back on Ready Recruit

API Relationship = Application Export
If this API relationship is enabled against your SEEK account, users can post a Job Ad from Ready Recruit to SEEK and receive the applications (applied on SEEK) back to Ready Recruit system.
Posting a Job Ad with Questionnaire
- Based on the hirer details (your account on SEEK), the admin users will have the ability to create questionnaire templates from the admin dashboard (Refer to: SEEK Questionnaire Templates Setup). After creating the Questionnaire templates on the admin dashboard, you can now link them to the vacancies while posting job ads from Ready Recruit to SEEK. On the Post Job to Seek window, users will be able to view a new option called "Use SEEK’s Native Apply Form (Step 5)".
- Select the checkbox (on Step 4) to have the Questionnaire templates enabled on Step 5. Users will have the ability to select the Questionnaire templates from a dropdown list that were linked against their advertiser ids (Refer to: SEEK Questionnaire Templates Setup). You can also click on the "Questionnaire Preview" option to view the questions that were selected. After posting questionnaires along with the vacancies onto SEEK, the jobseekers who are applying for the vacancy from SEEK will have to complete the questionnaire during the application process on SEEK job portal.
Note: By default, the above feature is not enabled by SEEK. Please contact your SEEK account manager or the customer service team at SEEK to have the "Application Export" feature (Questionnaire Templates) enabled against your SEEK hirer account.
Applying for a Posted Vacancy on Seek:
- After posting a Job ad from Ready Recruit to SEEK, the jobseekers will be able to apply for jobs on SEEK with the above posted Questionnaire during the application process as shown below:
Create a Candidate / Application Record back on Ready Recruit:
Once a jobseeker completes the application process on SEEK (means, after applying for a job on SEEK), the following happens:
A “Candidate record” is automatically created back on Ready Recruit with all the details powered by the SEEK profile.
An “Application record” is also created against the “Posted vacancy” on Ready Recruit displaying the Questionnaire Responses (
SEEK Responses tab)on the application page.
