Message Media API
Ready Recruit application is now integrated directly with Message Media (your SMS service provider) that utilises their API to send SMS. This integration reduces the touch points involved to have the SMS’s sent out and is also sent in real time.
How to Setup:
Message Media Side:
Step 1: Users with Message Media dashboard access, should be able to login (https://hub.messagemedia.com/login) to the main dashboard and click on the “settings” icon (small cog icon on the sidebar) and select “API Settings” option.
Step 2: Users should now be able to generate the “API Key” and the “API Secret” by clicking on the “Create New Key” button against the “Basic Authentication” section. (https://hub.messagemedia.com/api-settings)
Step 3: Users will be able to view the below screen, once the "API Key" and the "API Secret" are generated. Please save the newly generated API Key and API Secret in a secure place.
Ready Recruit Side:
Step 1: To setup and configure SMS functionality within Ready Recruit, admin users will have the ability to access the newly created “Message Media Settings” option under the “SMS Settings” section on the admin dashboard.
Step 2: Now the admin users on Ready Recruit will be required to enter the “API Key” and “API Secret” generated via the by Message Media Portal. After entering these details, please click “Save Settings” button.
The Inbound & Outbound SMS's should start working on Ready Recruit without any issues once the above configuration is completed.
