WHS - Create against Candidates (Product Idea)
In this release, we have added the ability to create "WHS Records" against the candidate entity (instead of just allowing the users to add them only from a placement record). Users will also have the ability to link these candidate WHS records with their associated placements while creating or updating a WHS record from a candidate page.
Visit Scheduler - More Date Frequencies (Product Idea)
We have had scenarios where the customers were unable to create site visits based on the training contract years. Hence, starting from today, we have added more date frequencies against the site visit scheduler that will help users create visit schedules based on the progression years.
For example: Users will now have the ability to create bi-monthly recurring visits for the first 3 years of the training contract and quarterly recurring visits in the final year of the training contract.
Vacancies Search - New Bulk Action (New Feature)
We have added the ability for users to update statuses and sub-statuses against vacancy records in bulk from the vacancies search page. An activity log record will also be captured against the individual vacancy record when the statuses are updated from a vacancy page or through the bulk action.
This new action is restricted by a user role permission that has been included within the Roles and Permissions area from the admin dashboard, allowing you to decide which user role should have the ability to update statuses and sub-statuses against the vacancies in bulk. By default this permission will be available only for the admin role.
This permission is labelled as:
- Can Bulk Update Vacancy Statuses & Sub-Statuses
New Vacancy - Notify Recruitment Email Group (New Feature)
Based on the feedback received from some of the customers, we have added a new feature that will notify (trigger an email alert) to the recruitment email group (under email notification groups on the admin page) when a new vacancy record is created in Ready Recruit.
This will help the recruitment group to view the details of a vacancy where a particular vacancy has been posted in the system at any given point of time. This will also help the team to check and review if there are any issues or details that needs to be updated against the newly posted vacancies.
We currently have the following predefined notification email groups on Ready Recruit against every office (site). The email notification groups also notifies the other groups (finance email group etc) about the placements and qualification status changes.
- Administration Email Group
- Finance Email Group
- Recruitment Email Group
- Vacancy Internal Source Group
Note: The email notification groups feature has been turned on for most of the customers by default. But the email notifications will be triggered only if there are any email addresses saved against each group. If you would like to have this turned on and know more about this feature, please feel free to contact our support team and we will have this feature enabled for you. We will be making more improvements to this email notification groups feature in the coming weeks.
Gateway Preferred Occupations - Ability to update from Ready Recruit (New Feature)
Jobseekers on Gateway product have the ability to manage their preferred occupations via the jobseeker dashboard. Jobseekers can search for vacancies, apply for vacancies and can also receive job alert emails from Gateway based on their selected preferred occupations.
We have slightly enhanced this feature by adding the ability for the field officers on Ready Recruit to manage these preferred occupations on behalf of the jobseekers via the candidate page. Users on Ready Recruit can now add or remove the selected preferred occupations from the "Preferred Trades" section under the "Additional Information" tab on a candidate page.
This will allow the jobseekers on Gateway to have a better visibility of the vacancies and also receive job alert emails based on the vacancies that are being posted with certain trades/occupations that matches with the candidate's preferred occupations list.
Applications / Placements - Added seperate status headers (Improvement)
On Ready Recruit, currently the application and placement statuses are all jumbled up and are being displayed to the users under the same dropdown while updating an application or a placement status. Hence, we have made a small UI improvement to the status dropdown list by separating the statuses as per their entity headers:
Here is the list of statuses that are considered as applications and placements on Ready Recruit:
- Application Statuses:
- Applied
- Not Suitable
- On Trail
- Referred
- Short Listed
- Not Successful
- Screening
- Successful
- Awaiting Commencement
- Placement Statuses:
- Current
- Cancelled
- Suspended
- Completed
- Withdrawn
- Transferred
- Stand Down
