User Token Configuration Policy

What are User Tokens?

Currently, when a new user account is created on Ready Recruit, a welcome email is triggered to the newly created user account with a confirmation url (security token). The new user will have to click on the confirmation url (received via email) to confirm the account, set a new password before being redirected to the dashboard. By default, the confirmation token is valid only for 48 hours (2 days) from the date of user account creation.

Default Settings:

By default, the confirmation token is valid only for 48 hours (2 days) from the date of user account creation.

How to configure it?

The admin users will have the ability to customise these settings from the admin dashboard under the "Security Settings" section. By default, the confirmation token is valid only for 48 hours (2 days) from the date of user account creation. Sometimes the emails are missed out or the user forgets to click on the confirmation token within 48 hours (2 days) which will lead to the account deactivation. With the implementation of this new policy, the admin users will have the ability to configure the expiry periods of the confirmation token from the admin page. We have recommended the default period as 2 days (48 hours), but this can be configured as per the customer’s requirement.

What do you need to know?

This feature is already enabled on Ready Recruit on production environment.
