We have had quite a significant sprint this last fortnight, achieving high velocity of development as well as introducing time saving and efficiency improving features into the system, such as bulk uploading of documents, improved user management, and an awards lookup table.

Bulk Upload Documents
Something that JobReady has been working on for some time now is the ability to Bulk Upload documents onto the system. We recently rolled out this feature to other JobReady products which was a huge success, so we are pleased to show you that this will now be available within JobReady.Direct.
To bulk upload documents to a record in JobReady.Direct, users will need to follow the same steps by clicking New - Attachment, or by going to the attachments tab and click Bulk Upload. This will take you to the Bulk upload popup where users have the ability to select multiple records, or drag and drop multiple records into the popup.
Note: this is limited to 5 records at a time.
Users will then be asked to enter the Document Label, as well as having the ability to enter the Expiry Date, Tags, and Version number for each document.
If a document has been uploaded incorrectly, it can be removed from the bulk upload process by clicking the Bin on the left hand side.
Awards Lookup
When adding new awards against Placements, users have always had the option to free type the awards into the system. This has caused issues with data validation and passing this information elsewhere. To keep the data as clean as possible, JobReady.Direct will now use a Lookup field from the Admin Dashboard to store all awards. This will allow users who have access to this area the ability to manage add and disable all awards within the system.
Where users have the ability to add a new Award (where they are assigned to a role with that permission) they will be able to add new awards from the Finance - Award section where the text typed doesn't match an existing award.
Where a user doesn't have this permission, they will be able to assign an existing award to a placement, however will not be able to add a new award. This will need to be done by a user with this permission.
Candidates - Communication Table
When capturing all of the information entered against a Candidate record, users are often having to sift through tens to possibly hundreds of notes and emails. JobReady.Direct will now allow for the communication tables against a candidate to be exported.
When the table is exported from the candidates, it will be taken to the Export tables where you will need to submit to the queue and download the csv.
User Management
JobReady.Direct has recently had a facelift within the users section of the system. The system will now provide a list of both Enabled and Disabled users allowing for user management to be better handled. We have also filtered through the JobReady Staff users and excluded these from the enabled list so that you can see your current list of users within JobReady.Direct. JobReady Staff will be the only users able to see and edit other JobReady users within the system.
