New features are now available in JobReady.Direct. Check them out!
Hi Everyone,
The first quarter of 2017 has come to a close, we are now 25% of the way through the year and that means that there are only 262 more days until Christmas... As we look back at what achievements we have made in the last 3 months, we are heavily focussed on what goals we would like to achieve in the remaining 75%.
As a part of this release, we looked at what we can do to improve what tools we currently have, and how we can optimise the system and be more proactive about reducing errors within the system. We have plenty of bug fixes which have been released, and if these have affected your organisation, you will be notified through your Zendesk ticket.
We will be announcing more information on Zendesk in the coming week.
Please see the updates in the current release which are now available on your production site.
Kind Regards
Andrew
Site Visits - Bulk Delete
using the Site Visits Schedule can create many Site Visits against a placement, some of which become pointless after the Placement has been ended for whatever reason (Cancelled, Completed, Suspended etc). JobReady.Direct will now include a permission within the user roles for specific roles to be able to remove site visits from the system. This will only remove site visits when the status is not completed.
This feature is available within both the site visits search, and within the site visits tab of a placement. Once a site visit has been deleted, an activity item is saved in the activity stream to save the user who performed the action to that this can be tracked if it is removed incorrectly. If a site visit fails to be deleted, a prompt will notify the user with the results of the deleted records and those that failed to delete. We recommend reviewing your current roles and permissions configuration before enabling this permission within the Admin Dashboard.
Companies - Edit Buttons
To improve the ease of updating the toolbar items on a company, JobReady.Direct will now have an edit button for each item on the toolbar:
- Status/Prospect Status
- Kind
- Officer
- Internal Source
Companies - Locations
We have seen over the past few months that there are more and more Vacancies being linked to locations which have been removed from a Company. To reduce this, we have improved the locations management against a company to allow for these to be enabled and disabled. Where a location has been disabled, the existing references to this address will remain in the system, however for new links the address will not be available.
To disable a Location, on the Locations tab users will have a Minus button on the right hand side. Once this is clicked the location will be disabled. To view disabled locations, change the filter to display disabled locations. From here users will be able to re-enable locations by clicking the Plus button.
Regions - Multiple Regions
recently we introduced a feature to JobReady.Direct relating to building regions within the system. We have expanded and refactored the work relating to this feature by allowing for users to create regions with overlapping postcodes. We understand that there are some scenarios where regions may overlap with postcodes appearing in multiple regions, however this has now been improved so that you can completely customise this for your own region setup.
Candidates - Filters & Exports
JobReady.Direct has improved on the availability of Filters and Exports dramatically over the past 6 months. Something that we have been focussing on recently is the functionality of these filters, and how we can maximise their usage with the tools that we have. Specifically within the Candidates search to begin with, we have been working on how to filter for blank values, which is now available for filters where a free text field is empty. The next stage to this will be to expand the field types to dates.
Indexes - Filters & Exports
JobReady.Direct has included the below field as a Filter and Export to each of the main entity searches:
- Region - Will be the Region linked to the location of the entity.
