JobReady.Direct Release - 20/03/18

Hi All,

This week’s release sees some of the biggest changes in the system, aligned to making your lives easier, and providing a guide to personalising your experience in Direct.

As a part of this release, we have introduced an intuitive Widget Preferences screen to better help you understand which widgets are useful to your role. On top of this, we are continuing to release more and more widgets in every release, with the Purchase Orders widget being displayed on the dashboard this week. You will also have more personalisation than ever with the ability for specific roles to choose what Vacancies and Applications will display based on what user group you are assigned to. That is just the dashboard updates…

In an effort to simplify data extracts, and reduce csv manipulation outside of Direct, we have introduced an updated UI for reports and data extracts. This will allow you to choose what order your fields should be exported in, and this will soon include property fields as well. On the topic of searches, the filters for the Company Contacts page have been included, and the exports from this search page will be included in the coming weeks.

For a full view of the release notes, please see below.

Have a fantastic week, I’m sure you will hear from me soon!

Regards,
Andrew Koster
Product Owner

New Dashboard - Widget Description

As we continue to roll out new widgets and updates to the new dashboard, we know it is important for all users to understand the value of these widgets and whether they are relevant for you as a user.

As a result, we have included widget descriptions for each of the widgets, making it clear as to what purpose they serve and what values they are using to be populated.

New Dashboard - User Groups

When the new dashboard was originally rolled out, we added the option for widgets to be able to be flexible at an application level for widgets that may affect different roles (Vacancies and Applications). This has now been improved so that they are specific to a user level rather than a system level.

As a user, the ability for you to specify where you are the Officer, Internal Source, or Sales Consultant is now available against the Widget Preferences - Customise.

A reminder that this will impact only you as a user, and not the application itself.

Export Templates - Custom Order

For some time now, we have had requests for users to have the ability to sort the order of their exports and select the specific fields they wish to export. In our latest update to Direct, the team have introduced a new custom order tool that will allow users to order their exports based on the order the fields are selected.

Note: Currently this is being rolled out for standard fields only, properties will be included in this list in our next release. Properties will be included in the exports by default at the end of the column order.

Company Contacts - Filters

In our last release to Direct, we introduced a new index page for Company Contacts. This at the time was just a listing, however this week we have introduced the ability to filter on this list with the below filters:

  • First Name
  • Surname
  • Phone
  • Email
  • Position
  • Company Trading Name
  • Company Legal Name
  • Company ABN
  • Company Kind

The next step for this will be to allow for exports from the Company Contacts search.
