JR.Direct Release Notes (Sep 15, 2020)

Hi All,

Hope this email finds you well. We have some exciting updates for you this week. In this release we have worked on introducing new functionalities, improving the user experience on Gateway, fixed bugs and have also made some key updates to the product.

Before we go into the release notes, I would like to acknowledge the issues that are causing concerns amongst some customers where the records are missing on certain search pages (specially site visits and reminders). We have prioritised this issue and our technical team is currently working on them and we will fix these issues as soon as possible.

In the previous release, we have introduced the ability to perform a dry run (trail run) on the company search page while updating the company officers in bulk. This week we have given you the ability to perform a dry run (trail run) against all bulk actions on all search pages. The dry run option will display the total number of records that are going to be updated before clicking the actual update button.

We have added a new application status called “Successful” based on the feedback received from different customers. This new application status will be available starting from today.

For Gateway customers, we have introduced the ability for jobseekers to mark certain vacancies as favourites and store them against their profile. We have also introduced a new feature to categorise useful links on Gateway. These useful links can be categorised on Gateway's admin dashboard.

Further to the above updates, we have made some key improvements to the placements search page, companies entity, emails feature and many more. Please see the full release notes below and let us know your feedback.

Regards,

Sreeram Goalla

Product Owner.

Events Search Page: (Dry Run Option)

  • Bulk Send Emails

Note: We are also currently working on improving the bulk updater that runs in the background to handle huge amounts of data while performing a bulk update on all search pages.

Placements Search - Checkboxes

New checkboxes are added against each placement record on the placements search page. While performing the bulk actions on the placements search page, users will now have the ability to further select individual records apart from the selected filters.

Company - Checklist Items

Some host employers require certain paperwork to be completed against placements. Hence we have introduced the ability to create paperwork checklist items against company records on JR.Direct. This feature is pretty similar to the placement checklist items. The company checklist items can be added from the admin dashboard under "Company Configurations" section and these checklist items can be selected against a company record under the "Additional Information" tab on a company page.

Emails - Cc to Internal users

When sending emails from JR.Direct, currently there is no simple way to include a new "Recipient" email address to the drop down list of the recipients. This can be a pain and increase the chance for errors where a user clicks "Other" option and enter a recipient's email address in free text. Hence we have introduced a new field on all email windows called "Cc to Internal Users" option where a users can choose to send emails to the selected internal users. This list will show only the enabled users on JR.Direct.

Gateway - Favourite Vacancies

Jobseekers on the Gateway portal will now have the ability to mark vacancies to their list of favourites. Jobseekers can view their list of favourite vacancies in separate page called "Favourite Vacancies".

This page can be found under "More Options" dropdown on the top navigation bar.

Gateway - Useful Links Categories

We have introduced a new feature to categorise useful links on Gateway. Admin users on Gateway portal will now have the ability to create useful link category names on the admin dashboard and assign them to all the required useful links. Any useful links that do not have a category assigned will be shown under "Other" category option. Once the categories are assigned to the useful links, the jobseekers and employers can then view these useful links through the category drop downs. This feature will be available to all Gateway customers starting from today.

Note: If you need any help in assigning the useful links to the categories, please contact our support staff or you can directly email me at "sreeramg@jobready.com.au"
