Hope this email finds you well. Welcome to the FY20-21. We have some exciting updates coming up for you up in this release and also in the future weeks. In this release we have worked on improving the user experience on JR.Direct, introduced new functionalities, fixed bugs and have also made some key updates to the product.
In the previous release, we have introduced new entity types and an icon to view or download the attachment files directly from the attachments search page. This week we have introduced new filters on the attachments search page where you can search, filter and export the attachments based on different entity statuses, sub-statuses, kinds etc. We have also introduced new customisation options for notes management from the notes configuration section on the admin dashboard. We have fixed the enlarged checkboxes in the application across multiple browsers and operating systems.
For Gateway customers, we have been working on re-designing the existing dashboard icons on both jobseeker and employer portals. You will be able to view the newly designed dashboard widgets on Gateway staging environment starting from tomorrow. You can play around with these new dashboard widgets and provide us your feedback. We shall plan and release these new Gateway dashboard widgets to the production environment in our next release.
Further to the above updates, we have updated the email templates on notification groups, added new filters and exports and many more. Please see the full release notes below and let us know your feedback.

Candidates Search - New Table Column
We have added a new table column "Officer" to the candidates search page, which will display the name of the field officer assigned to a candidate record. You can customise the table columns by clicking on the "Customise Columns" button and select the checkboxes. Only the selected columns will be displayed to the user on the candidates search page.
Note: This is a user profile specific feature. Hence, every user profile can set their own table columns.
Checkboxes - Fixed the sizes
Due to a recent update on some of the browsers, the checkboxes on JR.Direct have been disturbed. The size of the checkboxes were enlarged and did not look appealing. These enlarged checkboxes were also occupying a lot of space and was overlapping some of the text content on the small sized windows. We have now fixed all the enlarged checkboxes back to their normal sizes on JR.Direct.
Companies Search - New Export
New export fields have been added to the Companies search page where you can search, filter and export the company records based on the following: New export fields as below:
- Total Posted Vacancies
- Total Applications Received
Emails - Reply back to the sender's email
Recipients that receive emails from JR.Direct will now have the ability to reply back to the sender's email address from their respective email applications (Outlook, Gmail etc)
Attachments Search - New Filters
New filters have been added to the attachments search page to search, filter and export the attachments into a spreadsheet based on the following fields:
New filters are as below:
- Candidate Status
- Company Status
- Company Kind
- Placement Status
- Placement Sub Status
- Placement Kind
- Host Start Date (Placement Host Start Date)
Email Notifications - Placement Rotation Alert !
When a placement record is rotated on JR.Direct, an email notification is triggered to the finance team (user group) assigned to the placement office under the Notification Groups page on the admin dashboard. We have now updated the existing email template with the below new template that will display more details about the rotated placement.

Placement - More Supervisor Details
We added the following details to the supervisor field under the "Host Details" section on a placement record. New supervisor fields include:
- Supervisor Position
- Supervisor Email
Notes Management - Disable Feature
The functionality to disable "note categories" and "note templates" has been newly implemented under the note configurations section on the admin dashboard.
Hence, we have given you to the ability to disable the notes categories and note templates directly from the notes configuration section on the admin dashboard. Once a note category or a note template is disabled, it will no longer be displayed under any search results on JR.Direct. Any existing records that had a disabled note category or a note template will not be effected.
