Hope this email finds you well. In this release on JR.Direct, we have worked on improving the user experience on Gateway, introduced new functionalities, fixed bugs and have also made some key updates to the product.
In the previous week, we have introduced table column customisations on various search pages. This week we have added the column sorting feature on the applications and placements tab on the candidate page. The default sort order will sort the applications and placements based on the created dates (latest one the top).
On JR.Direct, we have introduced a new user permission ('Can Update Officers on all Entities') where you can choose to restrict the access of certain user roles from updating the officers on all entities. By default this new permission will be turned on for the "admin" role users only on JR.Direct. We've made further upgrades to the attachments search page, where you will now have the ability to view or download the attachments directly from the attachments table. We have also added more options for you to search for attachments based on different attachment entities.
For Gateway customers, we have adjusted the 'Apply' button on all vacancy listings for mobile and tablet devices on the Jobseeker portal. Jobseekers will now find it easy to scroll through the vacancy listings, read the job descriptions and apply for jobs without any hassle. We will also be improving more screens on Gateway portal in the future weeks.
Further to the above updates, we have updated the email templates on notification groups, added new filters and exports and many more. Please see the full release notes below and let us know your feedback.

Gateway - Buttons Adjustment (Mobiles & Tablet Devices)
Recently we have updated all the vacancy listing screens on Gateway. In addition to that we have fixed all the 'Apply' buttons on the mobile and tablet devices on the Jobseeker portal. Jobseekers will now find it easy to scroll through the vacancy listings, read the job descriptions and apply for jobs without any hassle.
Note: We will be improving more screens on Gateway and JR.Direct in the future weeks. Please let us know your feedback.
Merge Companies - New Validation Process
In the past few weeks, we have had scenarios where users were deleting duplicate company records on JR.Direct, also resulted in the company record linked to the Gateway Employer Portal being deleted.
Hence the Employers were unable to login to their Gateway Portal Account since the associated record is deleted on JR.Direct. To restrict this from happening, we have added a new validation process that will restrict the users from removing the company record that is associated to the Gateway employer account. You can still delete the duplicate company records on JR.Direct that are not linked to the Gateway user account.
Note: This way you can delete/merge the duplicate companies that were created but not the company id that is directly linked to the Gateway account.
Companies Search - New Export
A new export field has been added to the Interviews search page where you can export the interview records based on the following field:
- Company ID
Attachments Search - New Entity Types
Under the entity type filter on the attachments search, we have added more options for you to search for attachments based on different entities.
You can now search for attachments that belongs to the following entities:
- Email Attachments
- Reminder Attachments
- Site Visit Attachments
- Contact Licence Attachments
- Reminder Template Attachments
- Invoice Attachments
Attachments Search - Direct Link to Attachments
You will now have the ability to view or download the attachments directly from the attachments search page. We have added a new column to the attachments table where you can click on the icon and download the attachment instantly, instead of being redirected to the entity and searching for the particular attachment.
Candidate Page - Column Sorting (Applications & Placement Tab)
We have given you the ability to sort all columns under the applications and placements tab on a candidate page. The default sort order will be sorted based on the created date (latest on top). But the users can still sort for applications and placements based on different columns available under their respective tabs.
New User Permission - Update Officers
We have added a new user permission for all the user roles on JR.Direct, where you can choose to restrict the access of certain user roles from updating the officers on all entities.
By default this new permission will be turned on for the "admin" role users on JR.Direct:
