Introduction
Administrators can create Note Categories and Templates to be used within the Ready Recruit product!
This guide will show you some useful features to help you set up Note Categories and Templates to be used by your team on the Ready Recruit Product!

Creating Note Categories
Click on the Admin Settings dashboard icon from the left-hand side navigation panel
Navigate to Note Configurations and select Categories
To create a new Note Category, click the add button next to New Note Category.
This will bring up the New Note Category Modal, the enabled box will be ticked by default. If you would like to create a category but not have it selectable, simply uncheck this box.
The Note Category has now been created!
Creating A Note Template
Click on the Admin Settings dashboard icon from the left-hand side navigation panel
Navigate to Note Configurations and select Templates
To add a new note template, click on the add button situated next to New Note Template.
The New Note Modal will appear
Use the following steps to set up your template
- Type in the name for your template
- Select from the drop-down list a note category that has already been created on your site
- Type in the content to be displayed in the note template in the Comment box
An optional step is to add Form Type Templates
To add a Form Type Template click
This creates an extra section within the note template, allowing you to add fields to a note.
To add more fields click
To delete a field click
If at any point decide you don't want to use Form Fields simply click
This will revert the note to its original state without the form fields added.
Once your note is completed click
The Note Template is now created and ready for use!
Editing and Deleting Note Categories and Templates
To edit the Note Categories/Templates, click on the edit icon next to the relevant Category or Template
In the 'Edit Note Category/Template' modal, overwrite the required fields and then click
The Note Category or Template will now be saved with the relevant changes made!
To delete a Note Category/Template, click on the delete icon next to the Category or Template
The Note Category or Template will now be deleted!
Enabling a Note Category or Template
To enable a Disabled Note category/template, select Disabled Note Category or Template from the top tab.
This will show a list of any currently disabled categories or templates, click the add button located in the Actions column next to the category or template you want to re-enable.
This will create a prompt, clicking OK will enable this category or template to be used again.
The Note Category or Template is now Enabled!
Applying a Note Category
When a user adds a note to a record, Note Categories can be selected from the drop-down menu.
When this Note is created, it will show with the Note Category attached!
Applying a Note Template
When a user adds a note to a record, Note Templates can be selected from the drop-down menu.
This will apply the Note Template to the current note!
