JR.Direct Release Notes (May 19, 2020)

Hi All,

Hope this email finds you well. In this release on JR.Direct, we have worked on improving the user experience on Gateway, introduced new functionalities, fixed bugs and have also made some key updates to the product.

In the previous week, we have introduced table columns customisation option on the companies search page. This week we have added the table columns customisation on the vacancies search page and also on the applications tab on a vacancy page. We have also upgraded the filter bars on companies and vacancies search pages. This new upgrade will improve the performance of the search page, enhancing user experience in searching and filtering records based on the available filters.

On JR.Direct, we have introduced a new feature this week that will give you the ability to add contact types against company contacts. You can add contact types from a new page available within the Admin Dashboard under "Company Configurations" section. These customisable contact types can be selected while adding or editing a contact against a company record. We have also added a bulk action on the contacts search page to update the contact types in bulk.

For Gateway customers, the biggest change that you will notice this week is, that we have re-designed the way we are currently displaying the vacancies and application listings on both jobseeker and employer portals. The new layouts will improve the user experience of jobseekers in searching and applying for jobs, while for employers, posting new jobs and also viewing the applications received. We will also be improving various other aspects on Gateway portal in the future weeks.

Further to the above updates, we have updated the email templates on notification groups, added new filters and exports and many more. Please see the full release notes below and let us know your feedback.

Regards,
Sreeram Goalla
Product Owner.

Company Contacts - Add Contact Types

Admin users can manage "Contact Types" from a new page available within the Admin Dashboard under "Company Configurations" section. You will have the ability to add contact types through the admin page and can select the customisable contact types while adding/editing a contact a company record. You can also bulk assign contact types from the contacts search page. Contact Types can also be filtered, viewed and exported into a spreadsheet from the contact search page.

We have created two default contact types as shown below for all customers:

  • Primary Contact
  • Secondary Contact

Note: Assigning a contact type (example: Primary Contact) to a contact record will not auto-assign this contact as a primary contact of the company. You still need to assign a primary contact of a company from the "Primary Contact" section on a company record.
