Hi All,

Hope this email finds you all well and safe indoors. In this release on JR.Direct, we have worked on introducing new functionalities, bug fixes and have also made some key updates to the product.

In the previous week, we have worked on adding new filters and exports on various search pages to help you with better reporting. We have also introduced table columns customisation option, allowing for table column management from the candidates search page. We will be adding more columns and more customisation options to all other search pages in the next coming weeks.

Another new functionality has been implemented to disable unwanted qualifications from the qualifications management page from the admin dashboard. This page can be viewed under "Other Configurations" section on the admin dashboard. We will also be implementing a new bulk action feature on this page in the coming weeks to disable or enable the Qualifications in bulk.

Further to the above updates, we have added a new activity log record to capture the details of a deleted WHS record on a placement page. Please see the full release notes below and let us know your feedback.

Kind Regards,

Ram Goalla
Product Owner

Placements Search - New Filter & Export

It is sometimes challenging for providers to report on prior learning credits from the placements search page. Hence, a new range filter and an export has been added to the placements search page to search and export the placements into a spreadsheet based on the "Credits" field.

Note: This field is currently under the training tab on a placement page.

Activity Log - Delete WHS Records

Under the "Activities" tab on a placement record, you will have the ability to view the deleted action when a WHS record is deleted. The new activity log will display the details of the user who deleted it, as well as the date and time of when the record was deleted.

Qualifications Management - Disable Feature

The functionality to disable Qualifications, has been newly implemented, under the management page on the admin admin dashboard. We have numerous requests from ZenDesk asking to disable few qualifications that are not relevant to the customers anymore.

Hence, we have given you to the ability to disable the qualifications directly from the Qualification management page from the admin dashboard. Once a qualification is disabled, it will no longer be displayed under any search results on the application. Any existing records that had a disabled qualification will not be effected.

Note: We will be implementing a bulk feature to disable or enable the qualifications in bulk in the coming weeks.

Merge Fields - Placements Details

We have added the following merge fields to the letter and email templates on the admin dashboard:

  • Company ABN
  • Candidate Email (Placement)
  • Candidate Home Address Line 2
  • Candidate Postal Address Line 2
  • Company Head Office Address Line 2
  • Company Postal Address Line 2

Note: Please note that address line 2 is currently not available for companies and candidates on the user interface. But these merge fields will still display the data of any existing records that has an address line 2 stored in the database.

Contacts Search - New Filter & Export

A new filter and export has been added to the contacts search page, to filter, view and export the contacts into a spreadsheet based on the company tag(s):

  • Company Tag(s)

Note: We are currently working on implementing "AND/OR" operator for "Tags" filters across all search pages. This new functionality will improve your search experience. More details will be given out in the next release.

Visits Search - New Export Fields

We have added the following 3 new export fields to the site visits search page:

  • Candidate Email
  • Qualification Code
  • Qualification Title

Candidates Search - View Options (Customisable Table Columns)

We have received feedback from you expressing difficulties in managing the table columns across all search pages. You will now have the ability to customise the table columns on the candidates search page.

By default all the available table columns will be displayed to the users. You can customise these by clicking on the "View Options" button and select the checkboxes. Only the selected columns will be displayed to the user on the candidates search table.

Note: This is a user profile specific feature. Hence, every user profile can set their own table columns. We will also implement this for other search pages in the coming weeks.
