Process: Creating and Managing Custom Properties

 

Introduction

Administrators can create Custom Properties for use within the Ready Recruit product!

This guide will show you some useful features to help you set up Custom Properties for use on the Ready Recruit Product!

Creating Custom Properties

Click on Admin Settings from the left-hand side navigation panel.

In the Other Configuration section, click Custom Properties

To create a new Custom Property, navigate to the tab you want the Custom Property to be created for (in this guide, we will create a Custom Candidate Property) and click the Add button next to New Candidate Property

The New Candidate Property modal will appear with the following fields

  • Name- Name of the Property (this name must be in lowercase letters with underscores used for spaces eg. tax_file_number as opposed to Tax File Number)
  • Lable- Property Label
  • Filterable: check this box to make the property filterable from the Index Screens
  • Show as Merge Field- Allows this property to be merged
  • Field -Field option allows the user to design the 'property type' using the following:

      • Boolean - Checkbox
      • Date - Date picker box
      • Enumeration - drop down (an options section will appear to create the drop down box selections e.g {"1"=>"Yes", "2"=>"No"})
      • String - Text field
      • Time- Time picker box

The Custom Property has been created! The  Custom Property is now added to the Additional Info tab on Candidate Records!

 

Editing and Deleting Custom Properties

To edit or Custom Properties, navigate to the relevant Custom Property and click the Action button

To edit the Custom Property, select Edit from the drop-down box

The Edit Custom Property modal will appear, update the relevant information and click

The Custom Property is now updated with the relevant changes made!

 

To delete the Custom Property, select Delete from the drop-down box

This will create a prompt, click OK to delete the Custom Property


The Custom Property is now deleted!
