Ready Recruit Release Notes (25 Nov, 2021)

Notes Search - New Filters

We have added the following new filters on the notes search page to filter the notes based on the following fields:

  • Candidate State
This new filter will pick up the notes that belong to candidates, applications & placements based on the candidate state. This filter will check for the candidate home address (state), if the home address (state) is missing then the filter will pick up the candidate postal address (state) and display the results for you.

  • Created Date
This is a new filter added to the notes search page which is different to the existing "Dated On" filter. The new "Created Date" filter will pick up the actual creation date of a note against any entity. Whereas, the "Dated On" field can be changeable (backdated) while creating a note record.

Security Settings - Session Timeout Policy

Session timeout happens when a user does not perform any action on a web site for a certain amount of time. The event, on the server side, changes the status of the user session to ‘invalid’ (ie. “not used anymore”) and instructs the web server to destroy it (deleting all data contained in it).

Currently on Ready Recruit, when a user's browser window is inactive for 60 mins, the system will timeout the browser session and logs out the user from the system automatically. The logged out user will then have to log back in by entering their credentials manually and continue their work. This is a basic security setting we currently have across both the systems to avoid any data breaches.

Starting from tonight, the admin users will have the ability to customise these settings from the admin dashboard under the "Security Settings" section. The default recommended browser session time out will be 1 hour and this can be changed as per your requirement.

Note: As informed in the previous release notes, we are working on improving the security modules on Ready Recruit and Gateway products. We will be adding more security options to this section in the future weeks such as Single Sign-On, Account lockout policy, Security Responsibilities banner and many more.
