Candidates - New "Pronoun" field
Just like the personal names the gender pronouns are also connected to a person's identity. Hence, to assist the Ready Recruit users to better communicate with the candidates, we have added the following new field to the candidate entity on Ready Recruit.
- Pronoun
This new field will be available on both new and edit candidates window on Ready Recruit. The preferred pronoun added against the candidate will be displayed to the users under the candidate details section on a candidate page.
Attachments - New File Type Validations
On Ready Recruit, we currently have certain file type restrictions while uploading attachments/documents against the candidate entity. Starting from tonight, we have extended these file types validations across the following areas in the system where a file can be uploaded.
- Emails (All entities)
- Notes
- WHS
- WHS Notes
- Companies
- Company Contact Licences
- Vacancies
- Applications/Placements
- Reminders/Reminder Templates
- Site Visits
- Invoices
Starting from tonight, users can upload only the following file types on Ready Recruit "jpeg, jpg, png, docx, doc, pdf, xls, xlsx, msg, eml" files
Suburbs Page - Fix "State" Filter
Users were unable to search for suburbs based on the state filter. We have fixed this for you. Suburbs page can be accessed through the admin dashboard under "Other Configurations" section.
Companies & Placements - New Merge Fields
We have added the following merge fields to the companies and placements entity. Here are the list of new merge fields that can be accessed via email templates, letter templates, sms templates and quest forms on the admin dashboard:
- Companies - "Sales Consultant"
- Placements - "Employment Start Date"
Note: We are currently working on a new admin page that will list out all the available merge fields in the system based on their entity.
Placements - New Columns
New table columns have been added to the placements search page. You can now view the placement records based on the following fields:
- Last Communication Date
- Month of Birth
- Year of Birth
- Age
Candidates - New Export (Preferred Trades)
We have added a export option to the candidates search page to view the candidate records based on the following field:
- Candidate Preferred Trades
Bulk Emails - New Email Address Validation
Recently, we have identified an issue in the background where the email service on Ready Recruit is being overloaded trying to send bulk emails. The main cause for this overload is because of the invalid email addresses in the system. Our email service is performing multiple retries to send the emails to incorrect email addresses and they keep failing. This is overloading our servers.
Hence, starting from tonight the outbound emails will not be triggered to invalid email addresses in the system. Ready Recruit will identify all the invalid email addresses in the system and display a message to the user while sending emails.
Note: Users can also view the list of invalid email addresses or blank email addresses by hitting the Dry Run button before sending bulk emails from the system.
Vacancies - Gateway Vacancy URL
For Gateway customers who do not use public jobs board page on Gateway, we have made a slight change to the Gateway vacancy url. Users can now export the Gateway vacancy url from the vacancies search page on Ready Recruit without any errors.
Claims - Search for decimal values (Amount)
Some of the filters on the claims search page are used for searching $ amount values. Hence, starting from tonight users can search, filter and export for claim records based on decimal values.
Here are the filters where the users can search for a certain amount using decimal values:
- Rebate Amount
- Retained Amount
Gateway - New Filters (Applications Received Page)
For Gateway customers who use employer portal, we are introducing a new feature. Employers will be able to view and filter the applications received against all the posted vacancies based on the following fields:
- Applicant Name
- Application ID
- Application Status
- Application Created Date
Gateway - New Field
Based on the feedback received from some of the customers, we have added the following new field to the Jobseeker registration page on Gateway.
- Jobseeker Preferred Name
All the new jobseekers who are registering on Gateway will now be able to add a preferred name along with their first and last names. This is not a mandatory field. This field will also be displayed against the candidate page on Ready Recruit.
Note: We will be adding this field to the Jobseeker profile page as well on Gateway in the future weeks so all the existing jobseekers can also add their preferred names against their profile.

- Fixed an error that was showing up on certain entities with empty custom properties.
