Exports - New Permission
Currently, any user can export the data into a spreadsheet from certain search pages. Currently, we have an existing permission to restrict the users from accessing only the export templates. But staring from tonight, we have added an extra layer of permission to perform exports on all search pages.
This new user role permission is within the Roles and Permissions area from the admin dashboard, allowing you to decide which user role should have the ability to dismiss the alert messages against the placement record. By default this permission will be available for all the user roles in the system.
This permission is labelled as:
- Can Manage Exports
Placements - New Payroll Exports
We have added the following exports to the placements search page to view the records based on the following payroll fields:
- Proposed Charge Rate
- Proposed Charge Rate (Rate x 1.5)
- Proposed Charge Rate (Rate x 2)
Company - Placements Tab (New Column)
A new table column has been added to the placements tab on a company page. You can now view the placement records based on the following field:
New table column is as below:
- Host Actual End Date
Site Visits - Forms & Attachments Count
We have added a counter to display the total count of the attachments and quest forms against each site visit record on the following areas:
- Site Visits search page
- Site Visits tab (placement page)
Astute Payroll - Display Pay Rates
For the customers who are currently using the astute payroll integration on Ready Recruit, only the Pay Rates that are against the active job on Astute are being displayed on Ready Recruit system.
But starting from tonight, we have made a significant change to the Astute Payroll tab on the placement page where the system will pick up all the latest Pay Rates from an active and inactive jobs of an Employee record from astute payroll system and display them back on Ready Recruit. Here are the following list of columns that are added to the Pay Rates tab.
- Job Status
- Pay Rate
- Charge Rate
- Start Date
- Finish Date
- Host Employer
Note: The Pay Rates are sorted based on the Start Date of a Job on Astute. The Job Status column will display the Job status of an employee on Astute payroll system. (Active or Inactive).
Ready Recruit - Mobile Support
With the new branding change, we have been working on improving your Ready Recruit experience on mobiles and table devices. Based on the feedback received from a few customers regarding the usage of tablet devices on the field, we have made some changes to the tables to start with. In this release, we have fixed all the tables (scrollability) on certain mobiles and tablet devices. Users will now be able to scroll through tables till the end and access the edit buttons.
There are many areas on Ready Recruit and Gateway we have identified that will enhance the user experience on mobile and tablet devices. We will be working on them in the future weeks. I would like to encourage everyone to use the communities page and share your ideas and feedback regarding UI and UX experience on Ready Recruit. We will improve them.
Email Notifications - Fixed Placement Kind Name
An email notification with the below email template will be triggered to the finance team when a placement status has been updated on Ready Recruit system. We have done a tiny fix to the email template where the placement kind was displaying an id instead of the placement kind name.
Vacancy Search - New Export Field
For Gateway customers, we have added a new export field on the vacancies search page on Ready Recruit. You can now export the vacancy records into a spreadsheet based on the following field:

Gateway - Archive Applications
A new feature has been added to the employer portal for the customers who use Gateway portal. On the applications received page, the employers will now have the ability to mark certain applications as Archived.
Employers can mark the selected applications as archived by clicking on the "Bulk Update Application Status" dropdown on the Applications Received page. Once the applications are marked as archived, the applications will be hidden from the applications received page.
Note: Employers can view the archived applications by clicking on the More Options button on the top navigation bar. Employers will also have the ability to retrieve the archived applications back anytime from this page.
