Ready Recruit Release Notes (Jun 09, 2021)

JR.Direct is now Ready Recruit (New Branding)

As some of you must have seen our new branding on the staging environments since a couple of days and must have also received a communication email from our marketing team last week informing you about the launch of our new brand into the market. This new change will have a fresh new look and feel, that better connects our products to the market-leading ReadyTech family.

  • Ready Recruit (formerly JR.Direct)

On the login screen, you will see a new Ready Recruit logo and a few cool new buttons. And once you login as a user, you will observe a change to the existing logo on the LHS menu (sidebar) on the dashboard.

Apart from that there is nothing much that has been changed in the current release. But there will be more UI changes happening in the future weeks to keep the product aligned with the new ReadyTech theme. For more details about ready recruit, please visit our newly updated website at www.readyrecruit.io.

Candidate Phones - Communication Instructions

Users will now have the ability to add communication instructions against candidate phone numbers (mobile and home phones). These instructions can be added or updated through the edit button against a mobile or home phone number on a candidate record.

These communication instructions will be visible to everyone across the system through the small "? icon" against each phone number under the contacts section on a candidate page. Users can just hover the mouse cursor on the "? icon" to read the communication instructions.

Candidate Bulk Emails - Exclude Deceased records

When sending bulk emails from the candidates search page, by default the emails are now restricted from being sent to the candidates with the status Inactive, deceased & blacklisted. Users will now be prompted if you wish to include Inactive, deceased & blacklisted candidates while sending bulk emails. This can be used to market to your active pool of candidates knowing that you will not be reaching out to the records who are no longer Active unless selected.

Custom Properties - New Individual Permissions

Custom properties are additional details that can be added against multiple entities on Ready Recruit. These can be added through the custom properties page on the admin dashboard. Custom properties are of different data types (Example: String, Enumeration, Boolean, Date & Time).

We currently have an existing user permission Can Manage Properties on the admin page where the user without this permission will not able to access the custom properties page on the admin dashboard and also the custom properties under the Additional Information tab on every entity.

Starting from today, we have split the permission Can Manage Properties into 5 different user permissions as shown below so the admin users can restrict the other user roles from accessing custom properties based on individual entities.

  • Can Manage Admin Properties
  • Can Manage Candidate Properties
  • Can Manage Company Properties
  • Can Manage Vacancy Properties
  • Can Manage Placement Properties

Note: By default the above permissions will be enabled only for the Admin role.

All Entities - Reference ID's #

For Gateway customers, jobseekers and employers had the ability to view and search for vacancies and applications through their reference id's (database id's). Starting from today on Ready Recruit, users will have the ability to view the reference id's of the following entities on their respective pages.

  • Candidates
  • Companies
  • Vacancies
  • Applications
  • Placements

Note: Users can also search for vacancies and applications through their reference id filters on their respective search pages.

Email - Drag & Drop Attachments

On Ready Recruit, users currently have the ability to upload multiple attachments while sending outbound emails from different entities and also from the bulk actions feature on the search pages. Starting from tonight, users will have the ability to drag and drop the attachment files onto the email pop-up window. Users can either attach a single file or drag and drop multiple files against an email. We have also made some UX changes to the email pop-up window to make it more appealing across all devices.

Note: Please note the maximum total attachments size is restricted only to 15MB per email.
