Rotations - Migrate Associated Records
When a placement is being rotated, users will now have an option to migrate or expose the following list of associated records under the completed placement to the newly rotated current placement.
- Placement Attachments
- Placement Forms & Submissions
- Placement Events
By selecting the check boxes, the selected associated records will travel with the new placement when they are rotated. With this new feature, users can cut down on spending time in tracking back through the completed placements to see the communication records history for a particular placement.
Note: We will be adding more options to this feature in the coming weeks to have the ability to migrate more associated placement records to the newly rotated placement.
Email Alert - Placement Status Change
When a placement status is updated on JR.Direct, an email notification is triggered to the finance team (user group) assigned to the placement office under the Notification Groups page on the admin dashboard. We have now added the following new field to the placement status change alert email template:
- Placement Kind

Reminders Search - Completed Reminders
Users can mark reminders as completed from the edit reminder pop-up modal. But the completed reminders were still being displayed with incorrect statuses on the reminders search page. We have fixed this issue and starting from today, all the completed reminders will be displayed with the completed status under the reminders search page and also from the due & upcoming reminders widget on the dashboard.
Note: Any existing reminders with incorrect statuses were also fixed.
Events Search - New Table Column
We have added a new table column to the events search page to view the event records based on the following fields:
- Payroll ID
Email - Attachments Size Validation
On JR.Direct, users currently have the ability to upload multiple attachments while sending outbound emails from different entities and also from the bulk actions feature on the search pages. To avoid putting strain on the background jobs, we have decided to allow only 15MB of file size(s) to be attached against an email(s).
Users can either attach a single file or multiple files against an email, but the maximum total attachments size will be restricted only to 15MB from today.
Phone Numbers - New 10 digit validation
We currently have a phone number validation of maximum 12 characters on both JR.Direct and Gateway systems. But based on the feedback received through Zendesk from multiple customers informing us about some of the phone numbers being saved incorrectly in the system (phone numbers with extra digits).
Hence, we have changed the current phone number validation to only 10 digits (max & min) across both the systems. For all the new records (candidates and company contacts) that are going to be created in the future, a new validation message will be displayed if the phone numbers are entered incorrectly on both JR.Direct and Gateway.
Note: Any existing incorrect phone numbers in the system will not be effected because of this change.
Training Contact - Year 6 Dates
Under the training tab on a placement page, currently we have the contract dates that can display the dates of up to 60 months (5 years) of apprenticeships duration. Starting from today, we have added a new set of contract dates that can display the dates of up to 72 months of apprenticeships duration. Here are the new fields that we have added to the contract dates:
- Year 6 Start Date
- Year 6 Expected End Date
Qualifications - Display Nominal Durations
We have done a tiny UX update to all the qualification fields on JR.Direct. This new UX upgrade will display the nominal duration of a qualification when a qualification is selected.

- Added new contract dates to the training tab (year 6 dates for 72 months apprenticeships).
- Added a new Payroll ID column to the events search page.
- Added a new file size validation (max 15MB) against all email pop-up windows.
- UX improvements to display the nominal duration against the qualification fields.
- Added the ability to migrate placement attachments, forms and events to other rotations.
- Added placement kind to the placement status change email alert template.
- Added a new phone number validation (10 digits) against all phone number fields.
List of all bug fixes:
- Fixed an issue where the confirm placement button does not work for certain application statuses.
- Fixed an issue on the jobseeker portal where the candidate email addresses are not being updated back on JR.Direct when a jobseeker updates the login email address from their profile page.
- Fixed an issue on the jobseeker portal where the jobseekers are unable to click on the profile icon on the top navigation bar from certain iOS mobile devices.
- Fixed an issue on the reminders search page where the completed reminders are being displayed with incorrect statuses.
