JR.Direct Release Notes (May 12, 2021)

Rotations - Migrate Communication records

When a placement is being rotated, users will now have an option to migrate or expose the following list of associated records under the completed placement to the newly rotated current placement.

  • Placement Communication Items

    • Notes
    • Emails
    • Reminders
    • Letters
    • SMS's

By selecting the check boxes, the selected associated records will travel with the new placement when they are rotated. With this new feature, users can cut down on spending time in tracking back through the completed placements to see the communication records history for a particular placement.

Note: We will be adding more options to this feature in the coming weeks to have the ability to migrate more associated records such as placement attachments, placement forms, placement events etc to the newly rotated placement.

Application Page - New Tab (Other Applications)

Candidates have the ability to apply for multiple roles and currently there is no way for the users to view if a candidate has applied for various other roles from an application page as the application records do not talk to each other. Users will never know if a team member has spoken to an applicant previously or not.

Hence, we have added a new tab Other Applications on the following pages where a user can see if the applicant (Candidate) has applied for any other jobs other than the current application.

  • Application Page
  • Applicant Profile Page

Candidates/Applications - New Statuses

Based on the feedback received from multiple customers requesting us to add new statuses for the scenarios where the candidates have passed away and in some situations where the candidates are waiting for the placement to commence. Hence, we have added 2 new statuses to the candidate entity and 1 new status to the application entity. The following new statuses will be available starting from today.

  • Deceased (As a candidate status only)
  • Awaiting Commencement (As both candidate and application statuses)

Note: You can quickly update the candidate and application statuses through the "Bulk Actions" button on their respective search pages.

We have added new table columns to the placements search page to view the placement records based on the following fields:

  • Host Expected End Date
  • Employment Start Date

You can customise the table columns by clicking on the "Customise Columns" button and select the checkboxes. Only the selected columns will be displayed to the user on the search page.

Note: This is a user profile specific feature. Hence, every user profile can set their own table columns.

Alerts - Bulk Dismiss Alert Messages

In the last release, we have introduced a feature that will allow the users to dismiss each pop-up alert message across multiple entities on JR.Direct. Starting from today, you will have the ability to dismiss the alert messages in bulk across all entities.

Dismissing the alert messages feature would become handy where there might be records migrated from an older database or where the information is stored elsewhere for some records. This can be a problem where users are trying to process information and the alert messages that are showing are not true anymore.

This is restricted by a user role permission that has been included within the Roles and Permissions area from the admin dashboard, allowing you to decide which user role should have the ability to dismiss the alert messages against the placement record. By default this permission will be available only for the admin role.

This permission is labelled as:

  • Can Dismiss Alerts

SMS - Ability to send to Field Officer's Mobile

For the customers that use the SMS feature on JR.Direct, we have now added the ability to send the SMS's to the field officer from the selected entity. This new feature will help forwarding a public link generated against a site visit form much easier for all the fields officers.
