What are Roles & Permissions?

Introduction

Roles and Permissions are used to grant or restrict access to certain features or information available within the Ready Recruit product. Permissions can be attached to Roles, allowing the Administrator to choose what a user can or can't access.

What is a Role?

Roles are set by an Administrator to grant or restrict access to certain features or information available within the Ready Recruit program, based on the roles assigned permissions. Examples of some Roles may include Finance, Sales, Field officer Etc. Each of these roles would have access to different features and information depending on the permissions assigned to their Role.

What are Permissions?

Permissions are access details given by Administrators that define access rights to features or information available within the Ready Recruit program. For example, a finance department member would be assigned to the Role of 'Finance'. The Role of 'Finance' would be set up with permissions relevant to the Financial features and information available in the Ready Recruit product. This would mean the User would have access to everything Payroll and Finance related but no access to the rest of the Ready Recruit product.
